Taste the Ube, Smell the Blonde

Yesterday after weeks of speculation a few friends and I had the ube cake! Ube is a type of yam, a type of purple yam. The cake was actually pretty good and I would recommend it to anyone living near a Red Ribbon Bakery.
I should probably make this a second post but I won't! About a month ago a friend and I were at the met on a field trip and we learned that in the renaissance women would dye they're hair blonde using urine and we both loved the idea of starting a hair dye line called Urine Hair Dye, Smell the Blonde.

A Quest for Answers

Over the last week or so I've been trying to remember the name of a tv show and if anyone can find it I will send them something handmade (perhaps some lucky clay lungs) anyway here is all i can remember.
It was on in 2011 and it was a badly written cop show and one of the cops had some extra powers, it also may have been on the Oprah channel.

Pink Pants

A few days ago I was very bored and I painted my leggings, even though I was warned against it and because of the way they now look I'm only including an "artistic rendering" instead of a picture.

New pottery

Yesterday I had my pottery class and I got to take home some finished work from a few weeks ago and here it is.

Roped into Rice Balls

Rice ball are just rice that you form into a ball and add some flavoring, they are tasty. Anyway when I saw a friend and she somehow roped me into making some for the writing class tomorrow. Incase you need some further explanation I have included a picture of a rice ball

A Sunny Saturday

Today is beautiful.  Tomorrow I'm going to a homeschool production of Guys and Dolls.  I'm excited to see it because a few of my friends are in it and it sounds good.
