After two and a half days of traveling I made it to Newfoundland.

A few weeks ago I had some extra yarn that I had spun, so I asked if anyone wanted it.  Well my own mother asked and I decided that she could have the orange skein.  Only one person won so I still have a blue skein of hand spun yarn, so if you want it please comment below and say what you would use it for.

Yesterday I went to a mets game at citi field and it was pretty fun even though it rained and the mets lost 11 to 2.

A Day at the Races

On Saturday I went to the horse races at Belmont (not Kentucky) and it was very strange. I would recommend it to anyone, the season has just started in NY and its very cheap if you don't bet. The only down side is that while I was there one of the horses fainted but they brought it back and everything was fine.

Its Been Found!

I recently posted about a tv show I've been trying to find, well I have succeed and here is the official description:

"The series is centered on Jess Mastriani, played by Caterina Scorsone, a woman in her twenties who receives psychic abilities after being hit by lightning. She is employed by a special FBI Task Force because she has visions which, once interpreted, contain clues that will help her find missing people."

Taste the Ube, Smell the Blonde

Yesterday after weeks of speculation a few friends and I had the ube cake! Ube is a type of yam, a type of purple yam. The cake was actually pretty good and I would recommend it to anyone living near a Red Ribbon Bakery.
I should probably make this a second post but I won't! About a month ago a friend and I were at the met on a field trip and we learned that in the renaissance women would dye they're hair blonde using urine and we both loved the idea of starting a hair dye line called Urine Hair Dye, Smell the Blonde.
