Grinders for Lunch

Today I awoke and went for a walk on the beach and then for a little light shopping at the Westerly T.J. maxx and to top it off for lunch I had grinders.

Westerly Rhode Island

I'm in Westerly for the weekend with my grandparents. Westerly is home to the grinder which is a type of long sandwich similar to a hero or sub. Today I cleaned the front yard, swept the stairs, vacuumed, and did general housework a long with having a guitar lesson then I got in a car and drove here.

A Trip on the BQE

Because of a schedule conflict I ended up in the car on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, luckily there was very little traffic and I managed to go over my favorite bridge in New York the Kosciusko bridge. More pancakes?

Somehow today I made more pancakes! I'm enjoying school vacation week, getting some minecraft time in. Tomorrow I hope to get some writing done.

Another Lazy Day

Today I just relaxed. Got up late made a pancake breakfast and spent the rest of the day playing with the cats and listening to my mom complain about ferry reservations. While enjoying this blissful day I made a few paper cranes, recently I've felt inspired to make more origami and just inspired in general and its a great feeling.

Sewing Fail

After my success making a dress on Wednesday I decided to mess around with the sewing machine a little, just to get a better understanding of its various presets and whatever. Anyway after winding a new bobbin I started to sew and let's just say two hours later and this is what I'm left with. My sewing machine has gone to the dark side.

The Guitar Has Been Strung

I just finished re stringing my guitar and it sounds much better.

Yesterday's Dress

Yesterday while looking through my closet I found the makings of a dress. So I fired up the sewing machine and when the first sewing machine didn't work I got out another and made a dress, its very simple because I have very little skill but here it is.

Haiku: Slept Late

I slept in to noon,
Then math class panic set in,
Today its canceled.

Pizza Time

For supper I made pizza and it was delish! Today seem very productive and enjoyable hopefully tomorrow I won't wake up to late for my math class at 10:30.

Pancakes and Coffee

Today I woke up and made pancakes and because of a lack of orange juice I also had to make coffee. After yesterday's freak snow fall the weather has returned to its normal rain. Its a wonderful feeling having nothing you have to get done!

Writing and Pottery

Today I left for writing at noon then went to pottery where I made a few things and I got to bring home some of my previous work.

St Patricks day

Today I'm hiding from the drunken St Patricks day that is happening in Manhattan, of course I'm still wearing green. Here is Olive my cat representing my day.
